At the end of 2022, Quable will officially launch the Quable App Store – a sort of ‘store’ or ‘marketplace’, much like Apple or Android – where you can download and use all the apps you need to make your life easier, in conjunction with the PIM. A feature that is, in fact, much more than that. The Quable App Store will save you time when configuring settings and connecting to all other features, and, above all, reduce your costs. How? What difference will it make? We explain everything here.

The Quable App Store is just like when you download apps onto your smartphone to boost and simplify your life. Except that here, it’s for the PIM. The brand-new Quable Store will give you access to all Quable Apps and connectors, enabling you to connect to other ecosystems.

Of course, in future, more and more apps and connectors are likely to appear on the store, to meet all the connectivity needs that brands want (and deserve). Furthermore, custom apps not available on the PIM can also be integrated and configured via the Quable App Store using the “Custom App” feature, which some of our clients—such as Lalique, for example—are already using. Put simply, Quable provides the API and you’re connected.

A Quable App is similar to a third-party application that provides additional features directly within the PIM. These Quable Apps allow your partners and external stakeholders to access all the PIM’s services directly, securely, and for all contributors.

Before – or rather, now – the Quable App Store replaces the ‘Add-ons & Modules’ page currently on your PIM instance. However, it is ‘just’ a page, after all, listing all the features you can connect to your PIM, such as Textmaster, Shopify or CraftmyPDF, to name but a few.

At present, to connect these applications, brands using the Quable PIM must set up the connection and configuration manually. Sometimes, the use of an automation platform is required, such as ‘make’, a tool for creating workflows, processes and automation.

Exporting data, creating automations and feeding the file into an ETL tool before integrating it into an application such as Shopify, for example, is a time-consuming process due to these various successive steps. This current approach also incurs additional costs from integrators – another issue resolved thanks to the Quable App Store.

The Quable App Store really boosts the connectivity of your e-commerce ecosystem by further strengthening the synergy between your third-party applications and, in doing so, streamlining exchanges between your contributors, external parties and partners.

Where did the idea for this brand-new Quable App Store feature come from? From you, our customers – as we never tire of repeating, the PIM is scalable and flexible, which is precisely why we’ve developed this feature, designed to best meet the needs of our customers and the brands that require it.

In fact, the Quable App Store is simply further proof of how closely we listen to our clients and of the co-creation of the PIM alongside them.
