Background
The Liberated Brands group, based in California, distributes 4 brands (Volcom, Spyder, Electric and Captain Fin Co) in the boardsports, surf, kite and snow fashion sectors. With distribution in some fifteen countries and annual sales of 15 million euros, the group needed a solution that would enable it to rapidly distribute its offer across all its sales channels. Liberated Brands therefore chose PIM Quable and its partner Shopify Plus with the ambition of efficiently managing its offer and its multi-market experience.
The issues
Outdated product information management
Product data was stored and exchanged via Excel files, which lacked the robustness needed to manage prices, descriptions, assets...
A lack of order in an international context
Content from the USA was managed via Dropbox hard drives, which led to a lack of organization and professionalism within the group.
Heterogeneous product information and optimized collaboration
Overall team productivity needed to be optimized. Product information was not uniform across the Group's different brands, in the absence of a single technical base.
