Expanding internationally through multilingual management
Rondy, a major player in the wholesale trade in France, has successfully expanded its business with its 3,000 distributor clients thanks to the efficient management of its data via the PIM.
Background
A family-owned group since 1946, Rondy is now a major player in the French wholesale trade, operating in particular in the mass retail and DIY sectors.
The group currently employs over 140 staff, has 35,000 m² of storage space, stocks 15,000 product lines (ranging from tools and hardware to car parts, protective clothing and electrical equipment for the home), over 3,000 distributor clients throughout France, and generates a turnover of 45 million euros.
The issues
Difficulties in managing product data
Numerous obstacles arose in the management of product-related information, leading to a lack of efficiency.
Specific and changing requirements
The group’s customers and distributors have requirements and needs that are constantly changing, leading to a lack of flexibility and adaptability.
Time wasted in data distribution
Teams were spending a considerable amount of time providing reliable, high-quality and up-to-date information to the various stakeholders, particularly the group’s design department.
Solutions provided by Quable PIM
Quable PIM has enabled the Rondy Group’s teams to save a considerable amount of time in managing and disseminating product-related information.
Information disseminated as quickly as possible
Product-related data is provided efficiently and in record time to the Group’s entire network of partners.
Improved communication with partners
A seamless and user-friendly tool that is fully integrated into the partners’ ecosystems, ensuring greater harmony and consistency in communication.
Real-time, up-to-date data
All product-related information is systematically updated and accessible in one single place.
Quable has enabled Rondy to:
- Open up new distribution channels: to accelerate the group’s international business activities.
- Roll out multiple languages: to facilitate communication with subsidiaries and customers abroad.
- Easily disseminate information across different channels: thereby adapting to the group’s varying needs.
