Composable Commerce
What Is Composable Commerce?
Composable Commerce is a modular approach to e-commerce that lets companies build their platform by assembling specialized, independent solutions, rather than using a monolithic software suite. Each component (PIM, CMS, OMS, search engine, etc.) is chosen to meet a specific need, then integrated via APIs to form a coherent, scalable ecosystem.
This architecture offers unmatched flexibility: brands can choose the best tools for each function (product data management, payment, logistics, etc.) and replace or update them without rebuilding everything. For example, a PIM can be paired with an AI recommendation engine and a headless CMS to create a tailor-made customer experience, while keeping product information centrally managed.
