Eco-Design
What Is Eco-Design?
Eco-design is an approach that integrates environmental criteria from the very start of designing a product or service. The goal is to reduce its ecological impact throughout its lifecycle: from the extraction of raw materials to end of life (recycling, reuse, etc.). This involves choosing sustainable materials, optimizing manufacturing processes, or simplifying packaging.
In marketing and e-commerce, eco-design has become a key selling point in meeting consumers' growing expectations around environmental responsibility. Brands highlight these efforts to differentiate themselves, strengthen their brand image, and build loyalty among customers who care about environmental issues.
