Media

A media asset refers to any digital file (images, videos, documents, audio files) used to enrich product information or marketing content. In a DAM (Digital Asset Management) system, these media assets are stored, organised and optimised for effective use across every communication channel.

A DAM centralises media assets, avoiding duplicates and lost files. Metadata, tags and categories make them easy to find and reuse. Media assets can be adapted to different formats (web, mobile, print) by adjusting their file type or resolution.

Native integration between a DAM and a PIM (Product Information Management) system is ideal for automatically linking media assets to product sheets, enriching information and distributing content consistently across every channel (e-commerce sites, marketplaces, catalogues). This synergy improves efficiency, reduces errors and enhances the customer experience.
