Syndication
What Is Product Data Syndication?
Product data syndication refers to the automated process of distributing and synchronizing product information across multiple sales channels or external platforms (marketplaces, price comparison sites, social networks, partner sites, etc.).
The goal is to ensure that data (descriptions, images, prices, stock levels, technical attributes) is always up to date, consistent, and optimized for each channel, without manual intervention.
In an e-commerce context, syndication is essential for maximizing product visibility and improving the customer experience. For example, a PIM (Product Information Management) centralizes and enriches data, then automatically exports it to Amazon, Google Shopping, or reseller sites, adapting the format and attributes required by each platform. This reduces errors, speeds up time-to-market, and strengthens brand consistency.
