Asset Tagging Agent
Quable’s DAM Asset Tagging Agent looks at each image with vision and adds tags to match what it shows, so your assets stay searchable even when nobody filled in the keywords.
Tell the agent what you need, for example “Tag the new assets from this week’s shoot”. It looks at each image with vision, recognises what it shows, and matches it against the taxonomy set up for your project. Nothing is written before you approve, so your DAM stays searchable and consistent, even when nobody had time to fill in the attributes.
For example, a photo of a model in a camel wool coat, belted, against a city street, arrives with no tags. The agent proposes values from your taxonomy — product type “coat”, material “wool”, colour “camel”, detail “belted”, gender “womenswear”, setting “outdoor” — and, where a value is missing from your taxonomy, it can create it before assigning it. Once you approve, the tags are written. Next month, a colleague searching for “camel coat” finds it in seconds instead of scrolling through the whole folder.
It tags only from what is visible in the image and only within your taxonomy, so your search results stay relevant rather than noisy. If it can’t see it, it doesn’t tag it. Tags already on an asset are left alone, and you get a clear summary of what was tagged, what was skipped and why.
How it works
- Scope on demand: the agent finds the assets you point it at, such as a folder, a selection or everything recently added, and picks out those that are untagged or thinly tagged.
- Image analysis: each image is analysed with vision to identify objects, materials, colours, settings and styles.
- Mapped to your taxonomy: recognised content is matched to the attribute values defined for your project, not free-text keywords. A missing taxonomy value can be created, with your approval, before it is assigned.
- Visible only: tags come from what the image actually shows. Nothing is guessed.
- Approval before apply: you review the proposed tags per asset, and the agent writes them to the DAM only after you approve.
- Existing tags respected: tags already on an asset are kept, and the agent adds to them without overwriting.
- Structured report: status, assets analysed, tags added, assets skipped, assumptions and blockers.
