Background
Sames specializes in equipment and services for the application of liquid and powder paints, adhesives and sealants to protect and embellish surfaces. In an international context, with a varied offering and content distributed via several channels, managing product information was a real challenge.
To optimize product visibility, improve data management and standardize information distribution, Sames chose Quable PIM as its central information management solution. The integration of the PIM was carried out with the expertise of Axome, who supported Sames throughout all phases of the project: construction of the Data Model with range managers, integration with existing tools, data migration, implementation of workflows and team training.
The issues
Scattered data
Product information was stored in several different tools (ERP, CMS, R&D tools, PPT documents, catalogs), making management tedious and fostering data discrepancies between different media.
A lack of transparency and efficiency
The absence of a single repository led to duplication of tasks (data entry, updating and manual translation across multiple media) and a lack of visibility across all products.
Gaps in data reporting
Product information varied from one medium to another (showcase site, catalogs, print product sheets), which undermined the consistency and reliability of data for customers and partners.
Solutions from PIM Quable
Thanks to the implementation of the PIM, all product data is now centralized, homogenized and accessible in real time by teams across all channels.
Optimized multi-channel distribution with advanced tools
PIM ensures seamless synchronization of information between the showcase site, catalogs and print product sheets. Thanks to advanced search and dashboards, Sames benefits from more efficient data management, guaranteeing consistent, up-to-date communication across all channels.
Improved collaboration through better data organization
Quable's ergonomics have facilitated adoption of the tool, structured the management of roles and responsibilities within marketing, and strengthened collaboration between teams and partners. Thanks to DAM and tags, file classification is optimized, providing fast, intuitive access to information, while ensuring greater visibility and transparency in the process of creating and updating product sheets.
International deployment made easy with AI and automation
With integrated language management, Sames can now manage over 4,000 product references translated into 15 languages. AI and automated completions speed up the structuring of product data sheets, guaranteeing efficient, consistent distribution on international markets.
