When a client wishes to implement our PIM (Product Information Management) and DAM (Digital Asset Management) solution, we can rely on our integration partners to handle the roll-out. For the past two years, Quable has been working with Zen’To to enable advertisers to offer a unified omnichannel experience to their customers. Interview with Thierry Rudowski, CEO of Zen’To.
Could you tell us a bit about Zen’To?
Zen’To is a digital agency. We work mainly with retailers and develop applications for all their distribution channels: historically for in-store applications, then e-commerce and mobile applications, and now we offer the full range of front-end commercial applications. We work with various sectors such as the optical sector with Afflelou, the retail sector with Carrefour, and the beauty and hairdressing sector with the Provalliance Group.
What is the purpose of the partnership with Quable?
Quable provides the PIM/DAM solution and ensures its operation as well as the roll-out of new features, whilst we handle its integration at the client’s site.
In practical terms, we get involved right from the pre-sales stage. Quable is positioned as the technology provider and solution expert.
Zen’to, through a team of experts trained in PIM and DAM, manages the implementation of the tool in three phases:
- A design and modelling phase, in which we define the client’s specific requirements and precise needs,
- The design and development of interfaces tailored to the channels to be connected (e-commerce, till systems, ERP, etc.),
- Deployment and integration into the IT system, as well as staff training.
Following deployment, we remain involved through the support and maintenance of all developments. We measure client satisfaction through feedback, improvements in productivity and the solution’s usage rate.
Why did you choose Quable and its PIM as your exclusive partner?
First and foremost, we were impressed by the fact that Quable is a challenger in the market. It is a truly agile team, able to adapt quickly and deliver rapid enhancements.
“On the product side, Quable offers a reliable solution. The tool is intuitive and we appreciate the full SaaS model, which isn’t offered by other providers.”
Finally, our relationship is based on personal chemistry – we hit it off straight away – and a clear division of roles. Our partnership is balanced because each of us is an expert in our own field, without encroaching on the other’s. The collaboration between our two organisations, both on a human scale, allows us to remain flexible in meeting our clients’ needs.
Can you tell us more about the projects carried out over the past two years?
Implementing a PIM is often the first step in a broader omnichannel project for the client, the aim of which is to offer a unified experience and thus streamline the consumer journey.
We’ve had two notable projects:
For de Neuville, the implementation of the PIM saved time in managing the product catalogue and rolling out projects, whilst reducing the risk of errors. In fact, the brand is currently revamping its e-commerce site. The installation of Quable’s PIM served as a pilot project within the Savencia Group;
At Kidiliz, the PIM has also led to increased productivity as well as saving time on data exchanges with marketplaces, notably Zalando._._
We have also rolled out Quable’s PIM at Stokomani and Sisley, and are currently integrating it for many other clients.
Do you have any anecdotes about your partnership with Quable?
Our collaboration got off to a slightly rocky start! A client who had chosen Quable put us in touch, and we began working together. Unfortunately, the project didn’t come to fruition. However, we were able to bounce back, and all subsequent initiatives have been a resounding success.
How do you see the future of this collaboration?
We’re currently working on R&D projects together, notably on the development of a portal module. Our teams are collaborating more and more on a day-to-day basis on key issues.
PIM/DAM is a key component of Zen’To’s development strategy, and it is essential for Quable to be able to rely on a trusted integration partner. We therefore naturally wish to build on this momentum and succeed in converting more and more clients to PIM!
